The Brow Business
The Art. The Technique. The Experience.
A 3-Hour Hands-On Brow Intensive
This intimate workshop combines technique, philosophy, client experience, and business education developed through 28 years of working with real brows and real people.
Together we'll explore natural brow shaping, advanced waxing techniques, threading, tinting, tweezing, makeup, client experience, brow massage, retail, retention, and building a successful brow business.
Wax, Thread, Tweeze.
Different Tools, Same Shape.
Seven Elements.
One Philosophy.
Brows shouldn’t trend. Instead, Love what you’re born with. The method doesn't determine the shape. Your eye does. See three different techniques working toward the same goal: A beautiful, natural brow that still looks like you.
-
The Art + Biology of Natural Brows
Learn to look beyond brow trends and understand the natural brow in front of you.
We'll explore brow growth, genetics, facial features, asymmetry, density, texture, scars, cowlicks, sparse areas, aging brows, and brows that are being grown back after years of over-shaping.
The goal isn't to create two identical brows.
It's to create balance while honoring what naturally belongs to that face.
-
Advanced Waxing + Precision Shaping
Beautiful brow shaping begins with knowing not only how to remove hair—but when not to.
We'll explore advanced waxing techniques, skin preparation and protection, using powder as a visual guide, precision placement, trimming and cleanup.
We'll also discuss skin conditions, products, and treatments that may make waxing inappropriate and when threading or tweezing may be the better choice.
-
The Ancient Art of Threading
Discover the history, beauty, and precision of one of the world's oldest hair-removal techniques.
You'll learn thread preparation, hand position, movement, tension, skin stretching, control, and how to begin developing the coordination needed to practice safely and effectively.
Threading can be an invaluable alternative when waxing isn't the best choice.
-
Enhance, Don’t Overpower.
Color can completely change the appearance of a brow—but more isn't always better.
We'll explore brow tint, lash tint, henna and stain, color selection, placement, timing, gray coverage, creating fullness, and choosing the right treatment for the desired result.
Before adding color, ask:
What are we trying to accomplish?
-
Clients. Retention. Referrals.
Brows can be one of the most valuable services in a beauty business.
They require relatively little product, work beautifully as a recurring service, and create an opportunity to build long-term relationships with clients.
We'll talk about consultation, timing, pricing, pre-booking, referrals, word of mouth, retail, client retention, and ways to grow your brow clientele without overcrowding your schedule.
The real question isn't only:
How do I find a new client?
It's: How do I keep someone for 10, 15, or 20 years?
-
Makeup + Retail
Learn how to finish a brow without drawing on an entirely different one.
We'll explore pencils, powders, gels, color selection, filling sparse areas, creating softness and definition, recommending products, and educating clients on simple at-home maintenance.
Great retail begins with education—not pressure.
Here's what I used. Here's where I used it. Here's why.
-
Brow Massage + The Client Experience
The brow service doesn't end when the last hair is removed.
We'll explore how thoughtful finishing touches—clean skin, soothing products, intentional touch, brow and temple massage, quiet, and a beautiful mirror reveal—can transform an ordinary appointment into an experience.
Clients may come to you for their brows.
They return because of how you make them feel.
Touch is medicine.

Brows have been at the heart of Christina's work since beginning her career in esthetics in 1998.
An Aveda Institute graduate and Shobha NYC Threading Specialist since 2008, Christina has spent nearly three decades shaping thousands of brows and developing a deeply personal philosophy around natural beauty.
Her work has been recognized with numerous Best Brow and Beauty awards over the years, including national recognition from Allure Magazine… Twice.
But the greatest education has come from the people who have trusted her with their faces year after year.
Through The Brow Business, Christina is sharing the techniques, observations, mistakes, lessons, and little details that only come from years behind the chair.
FOR THE LOVE OF BROWS.
I've loved brows for a very long time, and I'm genuinely excited to share what nearly three decades behind the brow chair has taught me.
My hope is simple: that you leave feeling more confident in your hands, more thoughtful in the way you see a brow, and even better at doing what you love.
